Starting again!

I am wanting to re-register as i was a childminder in 2012.
I got my level 3 in 2011 along with first aid etc.
I know i need to update my first aid. Does my nvq still stand or does it expire after so long?
I don't want to discover my qualifications are out of date!?!

All newly registering childminders have to do the introduction to childminding course regardless of what qualifications they already have - you could be a brain surgeon, a qualified nursery teacher, a stay at home mum it doesn't matter, you have to do the course.

You might need a new first aid course - you will need to ask your Local authority.

Your Level 3 is still a Level 3 and will always be a qualification you have achieved.
But your LA might still require you to do another course to be registered, give LA a call.
