DBS Check question

tonight I applied for my DBS check, but how do I do apply for my husbands?

I'm confused as was expecting to do us both at the same time?

Your husband needs his own Govt Gateway account to apply for his own check...

I applied for ours a couple of weeks ago. He didn't need government gateway until ofsted application. For the DBS I just followed the same steps as for mine on the capita website, but with his details and ticking the 'living on premises' rather than childminder box. Hope this makes sense.
