help!!! Ofsted are coming tommorrow!! ( tuesday)

have got my first reg inspection tommorrow from ofsted! think its sfe to say that i am pooping my pants!!!
any last min advice??!!

be calm and do everything that your normally do....

Errr- calm down!

When she arrives check her ID and put her in your visitor book if you have one - don't worry if you don't it's not compulsory.

Stick to what you would normally do - get all your paperwork ready and give that to the inspector when she arrives then carry on as normal.

I poop my pants every time someone talks about ofsted coming to do an inspection and it's not even me!!! I'm going to print off the tips, things to do and then read them over and over and as I don't know when I'm having it, I don't even know if it's the National Standards or EYFS I'm supposed to know. I read them and absolutely nothing goes in my head! Some people have inspections when they've only worked a short time don't they? Does your CSDO always come round before you have one, id that some sort of a clue????

If it's your pre-reg inspection then try not to worry about it at all.

Read up on your National Standards and show her any paperwork you may have already and tell her about any you are planning to do.

She will ask you how you will keep the children safe in your care, how you will teach them, encourage them to be healthy, etc.

Talk about the safety features in your home, ie. ones you have or will have.

What activities you plan to do with them, toddler groups etc you may go to.

She will have a quick look around your premises to give you any advice on how you can make it safer etc and that's it! Over!

Please don't worry, I did and it was totally unfounded!

don't panic! it'll be fine! mine said that i was really quiet to begin with and then i got much better! try not to be nervous and tell her everything you plan to do. mine said she wouldn't know unless i said! you'll be fine!
