Hi all
My 3 yr safeguarding runs out in August, does anyone know if we can re do it as distance or e learning course and is it just a refresher or the whole thing again :-)

Where I am (suffolk) we have a 3 hour power course provided to attend every three years...covers info for newbies and as a refresher also.
I'm not sure what the stand is on just doing an online one, sure someone else will know tho x

I don't know the answer, but as safeguarding is linked to your LA guidelines and each LA has different ones I wouldn't have thought a distance course would be enough...?

Your safeguarding training MUST be local authority approved - so you need to speak to them and do whatever course they require :D

I have to do the online course my LA safeguarding board offer.
