Attendance Registers, Over 8's

Do we keep full attendance registers for children over 8 in our care

I do too.

If someone came up with an allegation in the future you need to know if the child was present or not. And your PLI would need to know you are not over numbers if you ever had an incident

I know that we don't need to be registered for over 8's, but why would you not keep records???

I do keep records for my over 8's, including attendance registers, but at the moment seem so bogged down with paperwork thought I may have been doing something unnecessarily and could possibly stop. But shall carry on with them, my poor printer is suffering the most x
