Thank you so much for giving up your Saturday to attend and for representing us and constantly standing up for us "Independent Childminders" although it does sound as if we now have to change our tune and actually want Elizabeth Truss to stay in her current post to ensure she keeps her promise that we can remain independent!

Thanks for the feedback. Very interesting the comment from the Ofsted man, I have always thought things will probably change when ET departs. Talking of which she seems very quiet at the moment!

Thank you from me too! It is just as likely that agencies will be recognised for the daft idea they are if et goes! Although it may be harder to unravel, I really am confident that agencies will fail.

The promise that we do not have to join agencies will last as long as Truss is in office? The man who said that is very wise and knows what many CMs have felt for a while

I believe that this is what we have been saying for a long time...don't trust Truss and CMs must stay off agencies and boycott them

That could be taken one of two ways, and I wouldn't even like to guess what he meant!

the statement made by MR OFSTED worries me a great deal.

Thank you Sarah, for being there and feeding back to us x

I am very curious to find out the name of the Ofsted representative who attended this meeting and made the comment about agencies
I am sure it will be revealed when the official feedback is given to OBC

All OBC meetings have an allocated director and an Ofsted panel in attendance and the panel is usually named

It is a shame that this forum does not feedback on all meetings taking place or some are seen more important than others....all OBC meetings matter as we are all making a difference by attending, speaking up, raising questions and putting our hand up to be counted
