have parents and a 15mth old coming round on Sat morning, they need childcare for 8hrs p/w to start with but shortly this will increase to 20-25hrs p/w.

Would you get them to sign a contract for the 8hrs a week to start with, then draw up a new contract for when the 20-25hrs a week start? But obviously inform them of what the costs will be now for when they increase the hours.

Its an ideal contract for me so just want to keep things simple and easy for everyone.

How long will they be doing the 8 hours? I would be inclined to either just do a short term contract if its a matter of weeks & then a full contract for when lo goes on the increased hours.

I would write a note on short term contract about this beinga temp contract until full contracts starts on such a date.

It depends on how long it will be before the hours increase really.

Personally I would do the contract for the 20+hours and then make the 8 hr period the settling in session.

There is room on the ncma contract to do this if you are using that one.

But thats just me
