Mr Wobble will be in the operating theatre having his shoulder done.

I took him for 11:30am and all I have done since is pace up and down. Can't sit still, got all teary when Roberta flack sang first time ever I saw your face on the radio ( was our first dance)

I can't cope with this... They will call me when he is out of theatre.

I need sweet tea..and biscuits

Aww wibble, another hand here.
Try not to worry, find something to do (sort out your underwear drawer or wardrobe to keep your mind occupied) time goes backwards when you're clock watching
Sending huggles x

He is home and looking a bit sorry for himself but his arm is dead at the mo ( he has a block) so he isn't in pain.

But it will be sore when it wears off

Now for fish fingers and chips

Hehe to the cutting up his dinner. My ex hubby hurt his ring finger on left hand badly and because it had to strapped up I even had to undo his flies for him. My dd was about 6 months so I had two helpless people to take care of for quite a few weeks

That nerve block is scary, when I had my shoulder done I couldn't sleep with my arm in the sling as it really was a dead weight on my chest and stomach, so I took it out of sling and put it beside me, but in middle of night I woke up and could feel it itching and tried itching it on my chest but it wasn't there - must be like that for someone who has limb amputated. My arm was totally useless for 24 hours but it's funny when the feeling does come back - I was trying to make my fingers move, really concentrating on it and then had delayed reaction when my whole arm swung sideways and smacked a mindee round the head! (I was working with an assistant day after operation and for 2 weeks after as couldn't do any lifting).

Hope his operation was successful - at least by having the nerve block you don't need so much anaesthetic and don't feel so groggy with side effects after.
