Just had a phone call offering to clean my oven for £39
Has anyone had theirs done and is it worth the money?

I paid £50 for mine. It was a mess and they bought it up to look like new :D Cleaned all the shelves and instead of being black and caked in grease they were all shiny and silver again. My oven had been creating a lot of smoke due to all the grease inside.

I promised myself that when I had my new oven 3yrs ago that I would keep it clean inside but I haven't :( so I'd have it done again and I think £39 is a good price although If they have rang you, check they are ligit :D

That's a really good price.
I've had mine done a few times and yes it leaves my oven looking like new. I then have good intentions to keep on top of it and not let it get bad again but alas I never do.

I have a resident oven cleaner in the form of my lovely DH, ours always sparkles as he is also the chef here.
Sounds like I should hire him out!
I also dislike oven cleaning and once( before DH retired) bought a new one because I couldn't face trying to clean the old one ( the seal was going too!)
