Hey all we will be going away soon and where we are staying there are swimming pools with slides etc for the little ones.

I've not got round to taking my little one swimming yet and I am just wondering if anyone has some sound advise?

I did go and buy her a few swimming costumes but meeting with friends today one said it may be best to take her in a wet suit as often the temperature of these pools are tool cold for them?

Don't want to do the wrong thing if she should be wearing a wet suit to stop catching a chill.

Brought the aqua nappies so all set there.
Just to add aswel we are going away in this country and will be indoor pools.

Thanks guys - really appreciate your time :)

For holidays I've always put my 2 1/2 year old DS in a wet suit for swimming but to be honest that's usually if we go abroad as I think they're great at protecting from the heat of the sun! He's had swimming lessons in this country in just trunks and had no problem at all. Usually they warm the indoor pools anyway, especially in this country. I think just a swimming costume will be fine personally. They get over the temperature drop pretty quickly once they start having fun!!
