The DBS system is new and causing a lot of confusion. I always recommend members ring the helpline if you cannot find the answers you need on their website.

Hopefully it will be resolved quickly for you x

I've just done mine and I've tracked it and certificate in printing so I've obviously done it right. My friend who's a teacher checked my ID and filled in the relevant part of the form, I then scanned all parts of the form on along with my ID. Hope that helps x

The form serves as the certification as she will have to put passport numbers etc on the form.

Thanks natlou82 so she won't have to write anything on the copies. That's great thanks very much for letting me know :) x

How did you do the dbs application? When I did the online registration for ofsted it directed me to capita website, but I couldn't complete as I needed a reference number and password. Have found the reference in the guide to registration document, but no ideal how I get the password? Thanks
