Hiya, just wanting some advice. I'm planning to submit my Ofsted application after Christmas and looking at the forms I see you need 2 referees I've asked a really good teacher friend to do one, she's asked if there's any guidance notes of what needs to be included. I can't find any information on this, can anyone let me know what needs to be included on the references? Thankyou x

Just a bit about how you know each other, and that they think you are suitable to care for children. Nothing major and tell them not to worry too much :)

If memory serves you dont need to include the refs, just the details for ofsted to contact them. I didnt n mine were sent a very simple form to complete x

Thanks, there's a little button on the app form which says attach ref if available so I might as well ask them to type one up for me x

I did it like you Gail but you can just include a piece of paper with name, address and reference too.
