Hi!

Has anybody done this? It's a requirement with my LA and I'm doing this tomorrow, does anybody know what I should expect?

It's your basic, no-nonsense food hygeine course, covering very similar ground to the FSA's Safer food, better business for childminders pack. It can be summarised as "The science and art of how not to kill your customers." :D

There is a brief overview of the course here: CIEH Level 2 Awards in Food Safety | The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (http://www.cieh.org/training/level_2_food_safety.html) Most EHO's prefer us to do the CIEH-accredited course, but not all insist on that.

For the record, "Level 2" indicates equivalence to a GCSE/O-level standard. That's probably about right, as I took 2 years to complete my O-levels at school and probably put in approximately six hours actual study during that time.
