Fire Risk Check

Hey,

I'm in the middle of filling my application form in, and was wondering what happenes when you send the fire check list to your local fire station?

Hi there I just registered in September and I'm in Scotland. I was told that they would only come out if you had ticked no to any of the questions on the check list. I had to send a copy of all my fire risk assessments to the care inspectorate as well.

Hi I am in Scotland and registered a year ago. I had the fire service come out and I had to get mains powered smoke alarms fitted by an engineer before they would approve my application - they also checked I had a fire blanket and that my exits were clear etc. on the plus side they came in their fire engine!!

Oh and I had less than an hours notice on a Friday night!

Oh no!! I must of been really lucky to not get a visit.
