What kind of heating do you all have? I have central heating and a gas fire but I don't use it when the kids are here and it is blocked by a table most of the time.. was looking at a wall mounted gas fire maybe? anyone have one?

I have a wall mounted gas fire but also use a fire guard around it as we have a hearth on the floor under it and its marble or something., I don't use the fire when Los are here as it has stones in and I think would be tempting to touch!

I have central heating and a coal fire that we use to relax with on Friday nights, wet Sunday afternoons Christmas and high days and holidays so the fire won't be lit when children are here. My DO visited this week and said I would be ok not to have a big enclosed fireguard around the hearth, but if I have a baby to put cushions along the hearth. I do have a smaller guard, and clear the fire and pop in logs when we are not using it - my own ( now very grown up ) boys used to use the logs for action man to hide behind!!!! Those were the days!

Central heating and a wood burner which isn't used during childminding hours.Havent put my heating on yet try to hang out till NOVEMBER :blush: WHO HAS THERES ON?

Gas Central Heating. Only on today because they have been replacing all the Gas Mains outside so they turned the gas off today and when they came to turn it back on they asked us to leave the heating on this afternoon to make sure it was all ok. Turned off now I am holding out for Nov as well but it will help that we are away on holiday the last four days of the month :D

We have central heating. Gas powered/fired. That is all.

Central heating...and yes it's on!!
Although in my defence it's only on from 5:00 till 8:30 then again 15:30 till 21:00 :D
I hate being cold :laughing:

Mine is on all day, I get cold and hate being cold!
Gas central heating and mines been on alot as I can't stand being cold or wearing woolies indoors :)

just gas central heating here , it's been on the last 2 evenings from about 7pm-9pm really trying to see how long we can last without but everyone is moaning they are cold (dh and 2 teenage boys) but our bills are getting higher and higher :angry:
