Possibly a stupid question, but I'm busy studying for the Early Years Teacher Status. Can I put through my accounts any costs occurred? E.G. the DBS they insisted on?

You canst through cost inccured for course if that course is to benefit your business. If you are doing the course so you can get a different job then no, does that make sense. If in doubt ring the inland revenue they are really helpful.

i put all my degree costs and books and paper, binders etc through my books. it was to help improve my practice and business. :thumbsup:

How are you finding the teacher status course? I am looking at taking this course next year. Is it equivalent to qualified teacher status? TIA

the standards you have to meet willl be the same but it doesn't offer you QTS status. Ridiculous when you think about it - why not if you are meeting the same standards :panic:
