Help with toolkit

Standard 8 question 3 What does your safeguarding policy say about sharing information with parents about a safeguarding concern and when would you not share information with a parent.

My toolkit was seen by tithe board vas they have asked me to confirm this question. Can anyone help please?

Personally my policy says I would share info with parents only if I knew for sure it wasn't going to put child at risk.

Things like poor hygiene I would share for example.

My procedures state that I will talk to parents - unless I think the conversation might put the child in more danger.

That's what my LSCB told us during recent training.
