I know I will have to get signed permission to take photos but is there anything else I need?

Permission to keep them on your computer, permission to share with other parents if photo is of more than one child, permission to display in your home, permission to use in advertising.

Here's some advice for writing your policy - which MUST be included with your safeguarding procedures to comply with the Eyfs :D

And if you hav information about a child on digital media - including photos on a digital camera - you must be registered with the ICO - Data Protection and Freedom of Information advice | ICO.org.uk (http://www.ico.gov.uk). :D

Hello, quick update, I had mrs O today and was very honest and told her I did not have or paid for the data protection certificate. She told me that as long as I had a policy in place regarding cameras, phones and data and had a good understanding of it and followed it to the letter, which I have and do! Then no I didn't need it! Was very relieved. Glad it's all over x
