If it is to run your childminding business then yes but how qualified do you need to be to do our books and how indepth is the course.
Really like a piece of string and only you know so only you can make the call

Why not? ...the more you understand about finances the more in charge of your business you will be!!! Go for it and claim the expense!
Running a home based business means you are a small entrepreneur and knowing what it entails is to your advantage.

Absolutely I looked into an evening course on accounting but fell on my 6:30-7 weds no thanks!!
Your doing it to make you more comfortable for childminding so yes!!
