microsoft office 2010

Is anyone else having problems with Microsoft office 2010? The laptop did some updates this morning and since then I cannot open any word or excel documents, it says that Microsoft office is not installed on my laptop, well it was yesterday so any ideas guys please?

Sorted it now thanks Sarah, can't remember how I did it but was quite easy and luckily it did all the files in one go so only took me 5 minutes thank goodness, was quite worried as there are quite a lot of files that were involved and most importantly invoices.

Back up Teacake! Every time you do anything - back up - Dropbox or Skydrive are easy to use and free :D

I will try and explain, all files affected went orange on mine, I right clicked one of them, look for the instruction for open with, click on default programme, it should then come up with showing that instead of being in word for example it has been transferred to office 2010 just click on word and then ok and it should change everything back that was affected in word, I had to do it for excel as well.

Hi the files I can't open are attached to e-mails it just comes up with your computer is not installed with office then gives me the options to buy or put in number. Never had this problem till 3 days ago.
I have tried to do what you said but it doesn't come up with those options
