have you heard about AKAMAS for online courses? are they LA approved?

You need to check with your own LA - they all have different rules at the moment :D

has anybody done courses with AKAMAS?

Your course must be Local Authority approved - as stated in the EYFS.

If that company are not Local Authority approved you cannot do a course with them :D

Many companies offer online courses...pacey does
and this is the one from PLA

I think that these are good as a 'refresher'
But your LA is the only one who can train you on LA guidelines because each one has its own LSCB and process for you to follow in case of a concern

If in doubt call your EY team and ask ....until we get clear guidance from the DfE when they revise the EYFS ...but at the moment that stands as Sarah has rightly said.
