Oh ... Do you have the same science homework as us?

Who first saw/found/spotted/knew about atoms? ??

One of my dads is a science teacher at same school. .. He didn't know either!

If they want to be pedantic there is some mention of atoms in the bible. Can't get much older than that! Wouldn't have a clue about the actual answer they'll be after though!!!

Is it due tomorrow? Otherwise trip to the library?

I can understand about not using wikipedia but that assumes that you have books to look at instead!

Not meaning to imply that you don't have books, Fussy, but The Very Hungry Caterpillar ain't gonna cut it:p

But it did have leaves in.

We have had a few science books given to dd1 by a primary school teacher so now I have sat down going to scan through them.

Which luckily has the diagram in :clapping::clapping::clapping: thank you Miss C :D

Dd is year 10 but she has learnt not to ask :laughing:

However ds needs the extra support with his dyspraxia I just wish the teachers would help me to help him :(

You probably have already, but my suggestion would be to go to the teachers and ask, particularly the SENCO- if you still don't get help then ask to see someone on the leadership team, if that doesn't give any joy then a nicely worded letter/ email for headteacher asking for an appointment to discuss problems with homework given his issues will definately get you some where.

No parent should feel like this... Take it further ... If school is LA run - ring/ write to someone there- Inclusion officer would be a first port of call.

Its not la run :(

New year new start. Sent an email to the science teacher who told them they couldn't do the homework on the computer. I understand she wants to see the presentation but she will not be able to understand it if I don't type it out for the computer.

Changing his form seems to have made him happier which helps me at home.

Ds is perfectly capable until its comes to writing it down :-( oh and his organisational skills are horrendous)
