I passed today

Very pleased to have passed my preregistration visit. Within an hour of the inspector leaving one of my neighbours texted and asked if I was qualified yet as they'd like me to mind their child. I said I had to wait for my certificate but yes.

I took my kids to Pizza Express to celebrate.

What a day - I will be drinking a large glass of wine tonight.

Take time to do the pre reg questionnaire. I typed my answers and emailed the inspector my answers which she said would make it easier for her (and quicker for me to get my certificate). I was told by LA to set up as if you have kids coming that day so I set up 2 adult led activities and had some toys out. Also they advised to have standard day plan suitable for parents and kids which I had on display.

My inspector was lovely, not the big bad Mrs O I'd heard about. I hope yours is the same.

I'd say relax it'll be fine but I was stressed out... I hardly slept last night need any early night!

well done and congrats, i learned more through this forum for my pre reg then my LA or ofsted. They just informed me get paperwork ready and id, bill with address, first aid certificate and see u next week :panic:
