Well, finally got throught the EYFS training.
Apart from having far too many people on the course and sometimes not being able to hear what people were actually saying it wasn't too bad.
The last one which was all about learning & development, obs, planning & assessment was the best one. Basically I came away not learning anything new whatsoever, however what it did do was confirm that everything I was doing re obs & planning was in fact OK and I have new found confidencein what I do. It also clarified that there is not right or wrong way of doing obs, planning and assessments.
Would like to say a big thank you to Sarah for her wonderful e-books on obs & planning - they were really helpful. Sarah you are a Gem:magnificent:
Has anybody else finished their training?
If so, what did you think of it?
what do you think you learnt?
Has the course made you want to change anything about the way you run your setting?
