How old can you stop giving babies boiled water and give it straight from the tap?

I was always told 6 months although we stopped boiling my dd's water when she was about 8 months - she was sticking everything she found straight in her mouth anyway

I thought it was a year but read on nhs website earlier that after 6 months there's no need. I have 7 month old starting tomorrow so will ask mum in morning if she still boils it.

I would say when they start drinking the water from the water play tray (the one with bubbles, food colouring and a sprinkling of sand in) :)

I stopped when my ds started putting EVERYTHING in his mouth! If I turned my back for 2 seconds he'd be licking the soles of shoes. Not much point in boiling water after that lol :)

Yep same with me, no point boiling water if they are grabbing anything for their mouth! Kids need some germs...
