Hello All
I was wondering if anybody could help me please, I am going a level 3 Children, Young people workforce Diploma course in Sep (I have got funding from my local council :clapping:) but I need to take my GCSE in English and Maths again :( (I got a D grade 19 years ago!!) I have booked onto a course (free through my local council) but this is 14 miles away (28 mile round trip) my question is... can I claim the mileage for attending the Maths and English course?
Many thanks, sarah

Yes you can - anything to do with work and if you take another colleague with you, you can claim an additional .05p per mile per person too

Good luck with your exam

Good luck with your Maths & English - I took my Maths GCSE about 16 years after I blew it at school and got a "B" - I think it made more sense to do it as an adult as I could relate somethings to real life eg: how much carpet to order :)
