Preperation before course.

I am booked onto the October course to finish at the end of November. I would be really grateful for any pointers as to how I can prepare myself as much as possible pre course.
I know I need paediatric first aid and food hygiene certificate, I have asked my college if I can do the food hygiene online using e-learning, but they were unsure, can any of you tell me if this is viable?
Also can anyone let me know what else I can do before my course starts so I can have mindees sooner rather than later.
Obviously safe guarding the house is one thingI can do first, anything else?
Would be most grateful for ANY ideas!!

Writing policies. Go on pacey website to get info in the key ones you need.

Yes you can do the food hygiene online I think, look in the training and courses forum there's lots of info in there hth, im in the middle of doing my cypop5 course.

It is an unusual circumstance, but can cause delays if it effects you- have you or any of the over-16s in your household (who need CRB checks- sorry, can't remember new name!) lived overseas in last 5 years? If so speak to Ofsted ASAP as may need check from previous country of residence.
