I may be going over old ground here, but bear with me I'm new :)

I have a 6fttrampoline in the garden, a playhouse on stilts, a two tier garden separated by sleepers LOL not the ideal safe garden is it, my children are obviously fine with it all but will ofsted?

as long as you have ways to keep children safe while playing in it hun they ok, they will point out what they feel dangerous etc or surgest how to make safer etc

It will depend to some extent on who you get to do your pre-reg inspection.

Some inspectors will restrict what you can use ... others understand a child's spirit of adventure and want to see risk assessments like Annie says, to show you have thought about the dangers.

You didn't say ... do you have a net for the trampoline? because that is a must! :D

you could do your own risk assesment and make some signs for the children etc good luck:)

I would write policys for the use of the outdoor equipment and have well maintained safety records so you are covered

If you look here:

http://www.bromleycma.org.uk/policies/policies_and_procedures.html

there is a sample trampoline policy and also a permission form. :)
