My day started early but children not able to get in as our road got flooded

Just got my one mindee today, just been to softplay.

My family clan are back this afternoon to disturb the peace :laughing:

My own children are stir crazy by having to stay in :(

Only got one mindee here and all we wants to do is sleep he had a bad night and then the thunder kept him awake so he is fast asleep and might be there for some time and mum is picking up early :thumbsup:

I only have a mindee for 1hour on a Tuesday morning. I'm now trying to get some housework done but ds is following me round undoing everything. I might have to wait for him to nap!

I've had three littlies with me this morning, and its my own boys last day of school before the holidays start too.
Just been to another minders for coffee and chat for me and outside play time for the LO's...thunder and lightening started about half hour ago and is now pouring!!
Quiet indoor afternoon if the rain keeps up lol!
No more school runs from tomorrow :thumbsup:

Well the rain has stopped so we're off to the beach to find shells - big ones for them to make a plaster and shell plaque and small ones to put in a discovery bottle for the babies. The 2 siblings I have didn't bring coats today so need to avoid the rain.

Mine mindees are all asleep now, which is good as I'm shattered!
I was woken up by the thunder at about 4am & didn't go back to sleep again. Thank goodness I've got a quiet day today anyway!

Just one little one today plus my before & after schoolers.
While the little one was asleep, I've managed to write a CM to pre-school transition report for a mindee who's leaving me tomorrow for big school.
That will save me doing it tonight :thumbsup:

We had rain over night but it was fine this morning so we've been in the garden as usual! Now two are asleep, one is moaning in bed and one is chilling here with me. The storm disturbed everyone's sleep last night so naps are a bit skew today!

Me & CM friends had the perfect plan - take the children to softplay due to the rain (first plan, going to the farm was scuppered). We drive half hour to get there and it's closed due to a private party :-( So..... we go to another softplay another half hour away - it was closed too!! End up at the local garden centre, children playing in the little park they have - us having a much needed coffee :D

One extra today, have 2 asleep and 2 chillin as quite play while los asleep, last school run in an hour what's the beeting it rains again, but I don't care it's cooler:clapping:

had loads of rain in night but not too bad today. very hot. I have my 4 and feel like a zombie today - sooooo tired. 2 asleep now and 2 playing in garden whilst I watch and eat my lunch.

have 10 today Rachel took younger ones to M and T this morning older ones made wind chimes.
4 are now asleep rest are out the back playing in the pool and garden

quite a peaceful day no arguments so far hopefully it will stay like this

Back to work with a bump today. Had a lovely day yesterday just my own 2 children, we enjoyed a lovely day out in Windsor, walking around the castle, taking a boat trip, eating ice-cream, had a really lovely day, then today, 7 here ranging all the way through from 1 to 9 yrs old. We went to the park early and they are being very good but wow, what a lot of noise and not 1 of them is interested in going out to play in the garden so they are all in the playroom and hallway. Roll on 6pm.

Busiest day of the week for me today. My own 4 year old has finished preschool so he's here too.

One mindee didn't sleep well last night so has been following me round like a sheep all day, almost falling asleep in the playdoh but refusing to nap (although finally went off at 1.30pm) other mindee sees this and suddenly decides to becomes clingy too. I'm tooooo hot to have hot bodies on my knee!

I was soaked on school run this morning and the clouds are not looking favourable for this afternoon run either. We don't break up until Thursday :(
