Yes they seem to be the only ones fighting our corner

This is a summary of the reforms at a glance (I still have not read the whole thing...will do at some point)

These are the bits I read with interest:
EYFS requirements

'Common misconceptions' about EYFS requirements are set out. Not required are:
•'Freeflow' of children between indoor and outdoor areas
•'Learning journeys' or other similar documents
•Written risk assessments for all issues and risks
•Various written policies other than a core list (for childminders no written policies and procedures are required)

Learning journey not required...the Progress check is in a way a LJ is it not?
Policies...I still think cms MUST have policies..my view of course...I know no cms who doesn't
Risk assessment...am I right that Ofsted still look for this?
Free flow not necessary...making way to strapping kids to chair in structured settings?

LAs support for good/o's cms disappears...well many have not bothered for a while so no change there but support for weaker providers will remain and how many will now turn into agencies?

By the way where are the names of the 60 interested in pilots?

NONE of this will actually lower my costs or reduce fees to parents and in addition the Free Entitlement is still a pittance!
