Hi all,
Has anyone done it online yet? If so, do I need to be verified by my current employer to I'd check me or not?

i'm not impressed with these new dbs checks. My employer - the school is carrying out one for free - the university who are accrediting the trainign I'll be doing at the school are charging me £55 for doing exactly the same thing !:panic:

I hold a crb with my current employer but need one to go into childminding so am I right in thinking I need my current employer to confirm I am who I say I am? It doesn't state it on website that I can see!....
I presume the one with my employer isn't as deep a check as the one i will need for minding?
