I had an inspection last week and I got a fantastic grading..However the inspector said as she was leaving that it was still confidential information and that in the 20 plus years that she has been an inspector that only once has she given someone a grading and it has been marked down at a later stage...can this happen and if so could it happen to me?
i was really very very happy with the grading she gave me and I have worked hard to get it and love my job with a passion ..can they seriously do this.? I'm patiently waiting for my report to come out so I can inform everyone.

Yes, sometimes the result can be changed - all gradings go through moderation - but it doesn't happen very often.

Well done Annette...I've never had a grading changed but I have heard it can be done. Fingers crossed it'll go thru without any changes.

Yes in theory it is possible and can be changed. I had my inspection 2 weeks ago and as it was my first graded I was sure that once it went to panel someone would contest it and they would down grade me. But got my report yesterday and my outstanding still stood. I know you will worry till it comes through but try not to and congratulations.

I telephoned them today and they informed me 25 working days!!!!
