Keeping Leavers Paperwork

Hi

I am not sure whether this is the right place to post this or not, but here goes. I recently gave notice on one of my mindees and am now working through my paperwork and electronic files to remove the information. My question is what information do I need to keep for the data protection act, is it everything or just certain things.
