Retainer fees???

Hi Ladies,

Just wondered if you could help me with retainer fees. This is all very new to me and I wondered what you all charge. I feel its a goodidea to have a retainer fee but have no idea how much to charge!!

What do you need to charge a retainer fee for.

If it is to hold a place open until they start then I charge a weeks money and bill them as I do the settle in hours.

If it is to keep a place for a school holiday place then I would charge 1/2 fees.

As Sue32 says - it depends what situation you are charging the retainer for.

Is it just in gereral taht you want to know or for a current mindee/enquiry?

Sorry didn't explain myself very well. I was wondeing what retainer fee to charge when a child first registers with me in order for me to hold the place open until their start date.

i do hald fee for each week if more than two or a full weeks non refundable deposit is another option for shorter time paidin advance :)
