Just ended and the chancellor did not even stay for questions ...

I am sitting here fuming...and many others are cross too as there has been NOT ONE word on Early Years...everyone on Twitter is asking: N World, EYE and CYPNow!
All those promises?? hot air

The School budget has been increased to 5.3 bn or is it 53bn (I can't see the dot there?)...someone said EY is buried in there somewhere
Parents of 3 and 4 year olds need to look for work
LAs budget have been cut so we need to get figures...LA support is being discussed on twitter...probably even less now but Communities budget is cut by 10%...I think LAs come under that?

I hope someone will translate all this later...will post when I get a link but I am sure NWorld will do some summary for us

You can read all about the spending review under Education.

Look out for 1.65 about the new Free Childcare Tax offer...subject to consultation and under 2.8 you will find a reference to 2 year old funding...on track for 2014 for the extra vulnerable children?

I have been told the Free Entitlement funding will be left to LAs to decide...will get back if I hear more

School funding is overhauled...EY funding is part of the school budgets but 2 year old funding is safe in 2014...has Clegg won another battle?

...but LAs cuts equal 10%

love the way we are still completely in the dark about what is going t happen and when, doesn't inspire optimism does it?
