Food hygiene information scheme

Just received a letter saying that I will be inspected very soon. I have no idea what I should have in place... Is there anywhere where I can get guidance for example what temperature fridge should be at etc?

I am not 100% sure of the regulations in Scotland - but in England we must use Safer Food Better Business for childminders.

I suggest you download it and have a read through it will give you lots of information :D

We're recommended to use that pack too. It does seem to depend on who comes out though - same as CI really!

I'm in Wales and we use the pack too. When I had my inspection he just looked around the kitchen at where I prepared food asked about the sort or meals and snacks I prepare. He suggested I buy a food probe and that was that. It can't have been that bad I now look after his daughter 2 days a week
