informing parents about the EYFS

I hav a parent who is interested in her child's development but finds the 'development matters' "bewildering". I hav supplied a simple information document explaining the new EYFS but does anyone know of a half way guide as I feel it is very important they are engaged in their child's learning and development?

Dev Matters is not intended to be read by parents, it is bewildering enough to us in the business!
