Assistant = more children?

I want to take on an assistant to help me out with school runs etc. But in taking one on I would need to take on more children to cover their wages.
Is it 100% guarantee I would be able to increase the amount of children I can mind as there would be 2 of us?
Or to guarantee this should I get my assistant to become a registered childminder and be registered at my address?

you will still need to have the required space, and also check with your LA to see if you need planning permission.:)

Yes you can have more children. I have an assistant we have 6 under 5 , full timers. I know others have schoolies too. Remember he/she would have to do a First Aid course and you would need to do a police check with Ofsted. I really enjoy working with some one, great to have a second pair of hands and she is fab with the kids. Good luck!
