Isle of Man

DH and I were discussing possible holiday destinations in England for a short break later in the year. I haven't been to the Isle of Man before and hubby went about 30 years ago for the motorcycle racing. He says the ferry is very expensive but I can't seem to get prices online for September. Does anyone know how much it cost roughly or doesn't it run in Autumn/Winter? Have you been before? Did you enjoy it?

Are you looking at travelling from Liverpool or Heysham? I know the boat from Liverpool only used to run during the summer, but it goes all year round from Heysham.

I went for a long weekend about 8 years ago and loved it. It was like stepping back in time. Lots to do and lovely beaches. I would go again :cool:

But we did not take the ferry but flew.
