Do you think we could design an entire 'professional' qualification around popular puzzles - or even game shows?

"I'll have a 'G' please, Bob."

"Ready on your buzzers. What 'G' is a moronic Sith Lord and Oxford graduate whose sole purpose in life is to totally @*%# up the UK education system?"

BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

"Is it 'Grinning-Idiot'?"

"No - not Grinning-Idiot. I can see what you're thinking though..."

OMFG. :panic:

And to think I was worried about the "functional skills" elements they're teaching to some of the numbnuts on my diploma course. (We used to call it "reading" and "writing" back in the old days.)

Well if they're training new entrants to the childcare 'profession' with crosswords and puzzles, I will make an exception and actually excuse the Truss woman for:-

questioning the standard of childcare qualifications.
thinking that new entrants are going to need an agency to wipe their derrieres.
