Hi,
Met with my DO today to talk about funding for 3yr olds
Explained that I am of the understanding that as from Sept 2013 it is no longer necessary to be an accredited childminder but to be graded good or outstanding this seemed to go right over her head and she has left me with an accreditation checklist to wade through that she has printed from Pacey website.
Not sure what I should do, can anyone give me any advice?
On the upside she also gave me a Toddler Talk pack by ican.org.uk which is lovely, lots of ideas for activities for children set out on card e.g fishing game
where you place objects in bowl of water and using small net (sieve) ask the child to fish for particular object- helps develop an understanding of the names of things you could use colour bricks to help with colours.
xx
