Sat nav with long battery live

I need to get a new sat nav

can anyone recommend one with long battery life as I always seem to be pushing thr thing back in the cig lighter as im driving

also need a really good dashboard mount not a flimsy sucker that lasts about 2 minutes

I bought my DH a Mio Sat Nav as the lighter section in his car has broken so needed one with a battery option.
The battery life isn't fantastic but lasts for about 1.5/2 hrs.

Can't say what to get but don't get a Garmin are latest model one is rubbish. Keeps blocking you from putting postcodes in loses signal in London all the time. We keep going back to out really old Tom Tom. Battery life for Tom toms are quite good.

only 2 hours battery life but that seems like its pretty standard

Only think I find with iPhone sat nab is the phone gets quite hot after a while. Other than that its great
