I have to pass on a child's Learning Journal as they are moving and going to a new childminder. What do you all do with the photos of other children, I have parents permission to put photos of their children in other children folders, just wondering what Ofsteds view is, shall I get parents permission to go to new childminder or just black them out.

I have permission to put group photos in all children's folders and as far as I'm concerned that covers it. Otherwise you'd need permission for everyone's aunts/uncles/grandparents/friends etc etc etc to see them. The LJ belongs to parents, when they leave it gets handed over to them, what happens to it after that is up to them.

I agree, you pass it onto the childs parents not the new childminder, daycare, or nursery. It belongs to the parents!
