How often do I do risk assessments? I don't have a clue how often plz help x

Hello,

Have general Risk assessments for regular outings eg school runs, local parks, toddler groups, childminder drop ins etc and update them if you take a different route/take on new children, use a new pushchair, and review yearly making sure it's up to date.

Then have templates at hand to be able to risk assess one off trips eg pet shops, museums.

I review/update it every year, however I would update it if a new child started or we changed rooms around, a hazard was identified, new furniture/items were purchased for example.
