This looks helpful for new childminders and anyone who is struggling with recording income, expenses and sorting out tax etc :D

No, I'm afraid its rubbish - it is just a general introduction to tax which has had the word "childminder" put in occasionally. For instance the second page (http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/courses/syob2/cm/HTML/cm_102.html) goes on about VAT completely ignoring the fact that Ofsted-registered childcare is exempt from VAT. Complete waste of time and very confusing for new childminders, particularly going on about it so early in the course.
