As well as working long hours I'm a single mum so I find it really hard to get to training sessions.
Last week I did the food hygiene course online, was so nice to beable to do it and home in my own time and take as long as I need.
I've just started the child protection course also with the virtual college (http://www.virtual-college.co.uk/?A=469&B=1Target=%22_blank%22). It's very good, really in depth although a little heavy at time, but I guess it's a heavy subject.
I'd recommend the virtual college (http://www.virtual-college.co.uk/?A=469&B=1Target=%22_blank%22) to anyone who has trouble getting to training sessions. I know you have to pay for them yourself but by the time I have paid a baby sitter and for petrol and lost an hours minding fees cause courses start at 6.30pm round here it works out cheaper!
