My account spreadsheet runs from April to March so the last week for my accounts will be 31 March 2013. Do I put this date down when submitting my accounts or does it have to be 5 April 2013?
Help!!!! so confused.

When you fill in your online tax return there is a box somewhere to say dates you make your accounts to. So if last year you stuck to tax year, this year will be 5 april 2012 - 31 march 2013. Next year will be 1 april 2013 - 31 march 2014. I think they work out any differences! I've been doing my tax year from 1st april for years now.
