Over 8s policy

I've got a 9 year old and a 10 year old starting with me towards the end of August. I hadn't actually planned on having any over 8s so never wrote a policy.

I've looked on the Bromley site and TBH their policy sounds a bit vague, a good starting point but I'm not sure what else to include. What have you put in your over 8s policy?

Also the Bromley policy mentions a child/childminder/parent agreement. Do you have one of these and if so how have you worded it?

Every policy that I use for a under 8 year old I also use for an over 8 year old

My rules do not change just because of a childs age

I do though make it clear that the child is not allowed out to play because I do not allow it
