Is failing -

DutchNews.nl - Crisis and cuts hit demand for childcare (http://www.dutchnews.nl/news/archives/2013/03/crisis_and_cuts_hit_demand_for.php#)

Great stuff! :(

Come on guys, one more push - let's tell her how we feel about this agency lark rather than just moaning to each other -

I thought she'd ditched the dutch model in favour of the french one now? I get the feeling she'll just keep moving onto the "next best thing" :panic:

Would be typical if our sensible ratios and way of working changes to Dutch/French/Danish whatever system and they all decide that our way of doing things is far better and they change too!

I can't seem to open the page link - computer playing up today!

Don't miss the most vital thing in the article: costs to parents increased under agencies!!!

I hate that we always change to follow others after they have failed. If ET wants to change something I feel she should at least not piggy back on other and think of her own ideas

Yes but it was this model that got her started on the whole stupid agency thing in the first place.

Then, like this blog says, she cobbled other ideas together from around Europe -

New Childcare Minister Liz Truss | Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know! (http://www.myfamilycare.co.uk/news/blog/new-childcare-minister-liz-truss-mad-bad-and-dangerous-to-know.html)

Oh and by the way this article was written by some of the people she says (in her mumsnet chat) that she 'consulted' with.

Good to know they hold her in such high regard isn't it? :(
