Morten Michel are offering two new types of insurance:
One for a 'childcare staff placement agency'
This is for a system that holds childminders details, charges parents a fee for putting parents in touch with minders, but parent pays minder direct.
(Sounds similar to the FIS but with a fee for parents)
and one for a 'Childcarer Employment Business'
This is where the business (Agency) employs the minder with a written contract in place and therefore is responsible for the minders actions
I'm not criticising MM, they are first and foremost an insurance company after all, but do they know more than us or just covering all their bases?
